We are seeking a highly skilled Managing Consultant with a strong track record in structuring and executing strategic collaborations, and driving business growth in international markets. This role requires a balance of commercial acumen and strategic consultancy expertise, helping clients navigate complex regulatory, technological, and business challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering high-value consultancy projects, supporting clients in business transformation, ecosystem engagement, and innovation strategy. This includes working with industry leaders, policymakers, and technology providers to create impactful, scalable solutions aligned with European and global market trends.

The role

As a Managing Consultant at BluSpecs, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and refining a strategic vision and go-to-market plan for the deployment of creative new solutions that transform the Company’s financial footprint.
  • Managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects, including programmes, certification frameworks, and strategic advisory services.
  • Leading and mentoring high-performance teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring excellence in the delivery of engagements.
  • Providing expert guidance on AI, IoT, cloud, and edge computing, supporting our clients in aligning their strategy with evolving European technology and data policies.
  • Engaging with key industry players and leveraging our presence in key associations and alliances to identify business opportunities and position BluSpecs as a strategic partner.
  • Taking the lead in designing new business propositions and knowledge-intensive proposals that deliver measurable value for the client.
  • Navigating regulatory, technical and commercial challenges, offering solutions that balance innovation with compliance, security and scalability.

Requirements and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in consultancy or strategic development, with a minimum of 7 years in a top-tier consultancy or industry environment.
  • Ability and interest in building profitable and scalable new businesses.
  • Technical expertise in AI, IoT, cloud, and edge computing, with practical experience in the implementation and strategic deployment.
  • Strong understanding of European technology regulations, standards and ecosystems, with an established network of industry stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams, fostering professional development and ensuring successful delivery of complex projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and foster trust with clients and partners.
  • Address challenges proactively, offering innovative and commercially viable solutions to complex problems.
