Merlin. From lab to market
The Brief
Despite leadership in many research fields, Europe lags behind other world regions in the commercialisation of research results. Addressing this gap could add a significant amount to EU GDP.
The Commission sought to explore ways in which the results generated under the €100bn flagship R&D programmes could yield further commercial results through a programme of support directed at researchers from across the EU.
